This week in Intermediate High class, students consolidated new words related to occupations by presenting their word posters in groups and playing word board game.

Our ETK test next Friday will include the following words:

This week in Intermediate High class, students consolidated new words related to occupations by presenting their word posters in groups. We also spent wonderful time with Xuanqiao School students during Chinese time. SAS students reviewed new vocabulary while teaching Xuanqiao students the English equivalents and then they played word board game. Students also read together and taught each other new words and expressions in the book.

We also spent wonderful time with Xuanqiao School students during Chinese time. SAS students finished a quick quiz on new Chinese vocabulary, Xuanqiao students helped checking the quiz and learnt the English equivalents from SAS students. Students also read together and taught each other new words and expressions in the book.

This week in Foundation class, we made our own wardrobe out of tissue boxes and we labeled our clothes in Chinese. We presented the wardrobe to the class using the following sentences:

衣柜(yīguì)里(lǐ)有(yǒu)衣服(yīfu)/裤子(kùzǐ)/袜子(wàzi)/鞋子(xiézi)/帽子(màozi)/手套(shǒutào)/夹(jiá)克(kè)/裙子(qúnzǐ)/连衣裙(liányīqún)/短裤(duǎnkù)。

This week in Intermediate High class, we started the unit of ‘Occupation’. Students are going to learn how to talk about people’s job and proper dressing. Students did personal reading related to jobs and made posters to teach each other related vocabularies.

China Alive Week May3~6 (G1 Foundation)

This week is our China Alive Week! Students enjoyed Chinese folk arts and played different Chinese games. Look at those happy faces! We had a lot of fun! Guess which day is students’ favorite!
