Grade 5 Transition Song

Practice hard!

CHORUS

We’re moving on now, the time is right
We’re gonna shine, shine our light
Learning from experience, living for today
Looking to the future, each in our own way

VERSE 1
We’ve come a long way you and me
Since we first learned our ABC
Think of all the changes we’ve been through
The good times and the bad
All the memories we have

VERSE 2
There’s something we all want to say
To those who’ve helped along the way
We’re so glad you came into our lives
So thanks for being there
For your friendship and your care

CHORUS

BRIDGE
Sometimes it seems we lose our way
Not sure which way to turn
There’s so much more to learn
And every day new challenges we face
And through it all we grow
We’re here to let you know

CHORUS

repeat  VERSE 1

CHORUS

OUTRO
We’re gonna shine, shine, shine our light
We’re gonna make it, make it, make it bright
We’re gonna shine, shine, shine our light
We’re gonna make it, make it, make it bright
