We Want Your Feedback!
Thanks to the MANY parents who have provided constructive, professional feedback to SAS teachers via the annual parent teacher feedback surveys! This is an integral part of SAS’s vision to engage and support faculty in a unique professional learning community that provides opportunities to grow, develop and learn together. These surveys have been specifically designed to elicit information based on your first-hand experience with the teacher, and are connected to SAS’s Standards of Professional Practice. If you haven’t yet completed the survey for your child’s teachers, log into PowerSchool at http://powerschool.saschina.org/ When you log-in you will find a Performance Evaluation Survey icon on the left to begin the process.

The Newcomers Committee. PTSA Puxi will be working with the Admissions Office and starting an initiative on the Newcomers Committee. We are looking for friendly SAS families to support the “Buddy Family System.” This system matches new SAS families with existing SAS families to ensure that no one is a stranger on the first day of school. The goal of the the program is to help newcomers feel comfortable as they ease into like in China, in Shanghai, or simply in SAS. If you are interested in being a friend/mentor, please contact Stacey LoFrano Harrison (firstname.lastname@example.org). Thank you for helping to welcome families to the SAS community.
Community Information Fair (CIF). PTSA is now accepting reservation requests for the Annual Community Information Fair Wednesday, August 24th. Please invite your favorite neighborhood contacts to share their service information with your fellow SAS parents and guests. For table reservation email Stacey: email@example.com.
